Our range of cakes are baked in three sizes, 6 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch diameter. The 8 and 10 inch cakes are baked for the wholesale trade such as tearooms, cafes and restaurants. The height of the cakes ensures that visually they look impressive and it also increases the number of slices that can be cut from each cake. This helps to give an impressive margin when calculating costs. The 10 inch cakes cut into 16 -18 slices, the 8 inch cakes cut into approximately 10 slices.
The cakes are all baked and delivered fresh but will all freeze if required allowing more flexibility for eliminating wastage. Delivery is by our own vehicles, with the utmost care being taken at all times to ensure all cakes reach their destination in peak condition.
We deliver ourselves within a 75 mile radius of Bridport and cover most of Dorset, Devon, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Somerset. The cakes are all transported in strong cardboard boxes for ease of handling, stacking and storage. Delivery to other areas throughout the country are by overnight courier service.
